The preliminary results of the 46th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) examination have been re-published, with a total of 21,397 candidates now declared successful. This includes 10,759 additional candidates who have been newly qualified for the written examination, alongside the previously selected 10,638 candidates.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced the updated results on Wednesday (November 27) at 4:50 PM. The information was confirmed by PSC's Public Relations Officer, S. M. Matiur Rahman.
Previously, on May 9, the preliminary results of the 46th BCS were published, selecting 10,638 candidates for the written examination. However, in order to address potential discrepancies, the PSC decided to reevaluate and include an equivalent number of additional candidates in the written examination.
