According to the official, the PSC is in the process of drafting new rules to strengthen the background verification process for recommended candidates. The draft will soon be shared with relevant government authorities for review.

If approved, the new law will enhance transparency and fairness in candidate verification, ensuring that names cannot be arbitrarily removed from the recommendation list without valid grounds.

Speaking to Prothom Alo, PSC Chairman Mobasser Monem described the initiative as an "innovative document" designed to safeguard candidates from unlawful exclusion under the guise of verification. "We have incorporated the spirit of the July uprising into this new law. Our aim is to make the PSC a student- and candidate-friendly institution," he stated.

He further added that, once implemented, the new rule would significantly reduce difficulties for recommended candidates.
