Bangladesh and China have signed a total of nine instruments today, including one agreement on economic and technical cooperation and eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering various sectors, such as cultural exchange, media, sports, and health.
Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abdul Kalam Azad Majumder confirmed the signings and further announced that five additional declarations were made to initiate formal negotiations on investment.
Among the agreements, one pertains to the establishment of the China Industrial Economic Zone, while another is a commercial agreement focused on the modernization and expansion of Mongla Port.
Additionally, agreements were signed for the establishment of a robot physiotherapy and rehabilitation center, as well as the donation of a cardiac surgery vehicle.
