What Nawshaba states about 'Aynaghor'

In 2018, students took to the streets to demand safe roads. There were many joined from the entertainment industry. Actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed was also part of this movement. At that time, she was arrested for giving a video message on social media about the movement. She was imprisoned for twenty-one days. Rumor about that Nawshaba was kept in an 'Aynaghor' during her imprisonment. Now the actress opened up about the matter.

When asked whether it was kept in 'Aynaghor' or not, Nawshaba said, 'I cannot say whether it is an Aynaghor or not.' But my eyes were blindfolded with a black cloth. Thus I was taken to different places for 21 days at different times.'

Nawshaba said about her arrest and remand, 'I was with the students in the movement demanding safe roads in 2018. On the incident day (August 4) afternoon, I spoke on Facebook Live about the incident of the miscreants' chase with students in Dhanmondi. I was saying what was happening on the spot. After that, I couldn't understand why I was being called a traitor, a traitor, or the queen of rumors. That's when I understood - there is no situation to tell the truth in this country.

Expressing her expectations of the new government, the actress said, 'The country is going through many ups and downs now. The Judicial Department, Administration, and Election Commission must be reformed. Besides, we have to ensure our fundamental rights.
