Ahlan Sahlan. Khos Amded Mahe Ramadan. The moon of holy month of Ramadan has been sighted. Fasting will begin from tomorrow (Tuesday).
The information was delivered at the meeting of National Moon Sighting Committee held at the meeting room of Islamic Foundation in the Baitul Mokarram national mosque on Monday evening.
In the meeting it was informed, the moon of holy month of Ramadan in 1440 hijri has been sighted in the sky of Bangladesh. So counting of Ramadan month will begin from Tuesday (May 7). The Taraweeh prayers will begin from tonight. After having Sehri tonight the religious adult Muslims will maintain their daytime fasting.
According to Islam it is obligatory for every adult Muslim to maintain fasting during the month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the holy month of Ramadan has begun today (Monday) in Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia as Ramadan moon was sighted there on Sunday.
