A bill titled "Appointment of the chief election commissioner and election commissioners Bill, 2022" today (Thursday) passed in the Jatiya Sangsad aiming to form next commission under a new law. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq piloted the bill in the House which was unanimously passed by voice votes with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
