Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) is going to make its recent past Mayor Annisul Huq’s office room open for media to record for an hour. Media men can visit and record the scenes of the room from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Monday.
DNCC Public Relations Officer ASM Mamun said this to Rtv online.
He said, this room represents many memories of the Mayor. Many planning and initiatives were taken from this room. He gave directions for development of the city from this room before he went to abroad in leave. To record his memories the room will be opened to media.
Meanwhile, DNCC is observing three days mourning for the demise of Mayor Annisul Huq. The mourning observation which started from Friday will end on Sunday.
Navidul Huq, eldest son of Annisul Huq said that the Qulkhani of the Mayor will be held on 6th December, Wednesday at the Gulshan Azad mosque after Asr prayer.
Annisul Huq was laid to eternal rest at the Banani graveyard after holding namaz e janaza in the Army Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Earlier his body was taken to the Army Stadium at 3:20 pm from his home.
People rushed there to see Annisul Huq for the last time. People from all walks of life paid tribute to him. His janaza was held after the Asr prayer.
Annisul Huq went to England on 29th July for family purpose. As he fell sick there he was admitted to a local hospital on 13th August.
After undergoing treatment for nearly about three and half months he died on Thursday at 10:23 pm Bangladesh time.
