BRTC Eid Special Bus Service Starts May 23, Advance Tickets from May 17

The Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is set to launch its ‘Eid Special Bus Service’ starting May 23 to facilitate the travel of homebound passengers ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha.

According to a press release issued on Thursday by the corporation’s public relations department, advance ticket sales for the special service will begin on May 17.

The initiative, taken by the government, aims to ensure that passengers can enjoy a journey that is "safe, comfortable, and affordable" during one of the year's busiest travel periods.

The service will allow travelers to reach various destinations across the country at competitive fares. 

Highlighting the convenience of the initiative, BRTC authorities have urged the general public to avail themselves of the special bus service to avoid the typical holiday rush.
