Kaarina Kaisar's Body Returns Home, Burial Monday

The body of actress and popular content creator Kaarina Kaisar has arrived in Dhaka from Chennai, India after she passed away while undergoing medical treatment for liver-related complications.

Her body was flown into Dhaka on Sunday (May 17) via a US-Bangla Airlines flight, which waived all cargo fees for the transport. 

Her first namaz-e-janaza is scheduled to be held after the Maghrib prayers at the Banani DOHS Central Mosque in the capital.

Kaarina’s father, former national football team captain Kaisar Hamid, confirmed that her body will be taken to her maternal grandfather’s home in Gazaria, Munshiganj on Monday, where she will be laid to rest.

Karina’s Funeral and Burial Details Announced by Kaisar Hamid

Earlier, after falling critically ill due to liver-related complications, Kaarina was flown to Chennai, India, via an air ambulance on May 11. 

She was undergoing treatment at the Christian Medical College (CMC) Hospital in Vellore, where she passed away late Friday night.

Prior to being flown abroad, Kaarina had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka for over a week. 

As her physical condition severely deteriorated, she was placed on life support before being transferred to India for advanced medical care.
