Recovered pieces of flesh belonged to MP Anar: DB chief

The flesh recovered from the septic tank in Kolkata are believed to the flesh of MP Anwarul Azim Anar, According to Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police Chief Additional Police Commissioner Mohammad Harun Or Rashid.

He said that the investigation of Anar's murder has progressed a lot due to the recovery of evidence and the collection of surrounding digital data. It can be confirmed only after getting the forensic report.

He said these things while talking to reporters at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after landing in Bangladesh from Kolkata after the investigation into the murder of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anna on Thursday (May 30) afternoon.

Harun Or Rashid said that Anwarul Azim Anar was killed on the ground of Kolkata on May 13. A case has been filed in Bangladesh in this incident. A murder case has also been registered in Kolkata in the same incident. We have already arrested three murderers. Among them, the main killer is Amanullah alias Shimul Bhuiyan. The murder was planned in Bangladesh and the murder was organized in Kolkata. We went to Kolkata to investigate the case. We went there to verify the information given to us by the arrested accused and to see the evidences at the spot.
