Mystery of MP Anar's murder still unrevealed
Two months have passed since the sensational murder of Anwarul Azim Anar, member of the ruling party of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency, but the police have not yet been able to do anything. Although Dhaka-Delhi worked together to unravel the mystery of MP Anar's murder in Calcutta, India. The incident of murder was not officially proved as the body was not recovered.
The CID of India claimed that MP Anar was killed at Sanjeeva Gardens in Kolkata on May 22. Later, on May 28, a video clip of about four and a half kg of tiny meat, bone powder and hair was recovered from the septic tank of that flat. Although the CID-DB officially informed about the recovery of the meat, it could not be confirmed that the meat belongs to MP Anar due to lack of forensics.
MP Anar's daughter Doreen is yet to be sampled for DNA testing along with the fragmentary body recovered in Kolkata. Although the family members were called to Kolkata, they could not go yet due to various complications.
The investigation team of DB has so far confirmed the involvement of 10 people in MP Anar's murder. Five of them were arrested by Bangladesh police and two by Indian police. The remaining three are still missing.
