After staying at the capital's ScienceLab, the agitators are going towards Shahbagh. They stayed at the Science lab from 2 pm on Friday (August 02). After waiting for about two and a half hours, they left for Shahbagh with a procession around 4:30 pm.

Earlier, around the anti-discrimination student movement, a three-pronged stand was formed by police, students, and government party organization leaders in the ScienceLab-Newmarket area of the capital. Among them, students took a stand at the ScienceLab intersection, Police at Elephant Road and Awami League, Chhatra League, and Jubo League leaders, and activists took a position in front of Gauchia Market in the Newmarket area. However, no offensive incident happened yet.

Students from various institutions including Dhaka College, Eden Mahila College, Dhanmondi Ideal College, Dhaka City College, Bir Shreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf College, and Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College participated in the ScienceLab rally.

In a message sent by Abdul Quader, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement on Thursday (August 1), a new program called 'Prayer and Student Mass March' was called across the country on Friday. The message said, 'You know we are not agitating for any of our interests. Our movement is for the liberation of you and your child. What was our crime? Is it our crime to ask for constitutional rights? Hundreds of brothers were killed for what? We don't know the answer.

But we will not stop our movement without answering and judging it. In remembrance of all those who were martyred, injured, crippled, and arrested for participating in the movement in this crisis of the nation, we are announcing the nationwide 'prayer and student mass march' program on Friday.

In protest against indiscriminate killings and mass arrests, and to realize the 9-point demand of the students, they were asked to organize prayers in mosques after Friday prayers, visit martyrs' graves, and pray in all places of worship including temples and churches. At the same time, all levels of citizens of Bangladesh including workers, professionals, cultural workers, media workers, human rights workers, intellectuals, and scholars are urged to make the declared program successful spontaneously.
