A case was filed with the International Crimes Tribunal today against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and ten others for committing crimes against humanity including murder, genocide, and torture during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Bulbul Kabir, father of deceased Arif Ahmed Siam applied to the International Criminal Tribunal for investigation and trial of those involved in the genocide in the quota reform movement.
His lawyer was Barrister Gazi MH Tamim, a Supreme Court lawyer and a defense counsel for several war crimes accused. He filed the complaint with the International Criminal Tribunal around 1:30 pm today.
