Three new judges of the High Court were appointed to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.
According to the constitution President Md. Abdul Hamid appointed the judges. Their appointment will be active after the oath taking. With these three judges the number reached at seven in the Appellate Division.
The newly appointed judges are- Justice Zinat Ara, Justice Abu Bakar Siddiquee and Justice Md. Nuruzzaman Noni.
Meanwhile, a notice signed by Supreme Court Registrar General Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain said, Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain will administer the oath taking of new three judges at 10:30 am on Tuesday. The oath taking ceremony will take place at the Supreme Court judges’ lounge.
Supreme Court Registrar General Md. Zakir Hossain will conduct the oath taking program.
