Tarique Rahman, the Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), is set to return to Bangladesh in the first week of December, said Major General (Retd.) Fazle Elahi Akbar, the Security Adviser of the BNP Chairperson, told a local media during an interview on Saturday.
It was also learnt that Tarique Rahman will stay next to his mother’s house at 196 Gulshan Avenue in the capital, which is being prepared for him and the office where he will work after returning is also being renovated. Security measures have been strengthened at the BNP Chairperson’s Office on Road 86, Gulshan-2.
The BNP Acting Chairman has been living in London, UK since September 2008.
