Sheikh Moinuddin and Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb have been appointed as new Special Assistants to the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
This information was announced in a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday (March 5).
It has been learned that Sheikh Moinuddin will oversee the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, while Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb will be responsible for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology.
During their tenure, they will enjoy the rank, salary, allowances, and other benefits equivalent to that of a State Minister.
Earlier, three Special Assistants to the Chief Adviser, appointed with the rank of State Minister, were assigned responsibilities for three ministries. With these new appointments, a total of five Special Assistants now hold ministerial responsibilities across five ministries.
