Brent Christensen has officially been sworn in as the new United States Ambassador to Bangladesh, marking a transition in diplomatic leadership for the mission in Dhaka.
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Friday, January 9, at the U.S. State Department. During the event, Christensen highlighted his previous experience serving in Bangladesh, expressing his enthusiasm for returning to a country he knows well.
"I am delighted to return to Bangladesh, a country with which I am very familiar," Christensen stated, reflecting on his prior tenure in the capital.
