The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka today celebrated the graduation of 60 young Bangladeshi leaders from an intensive four-day training program designed to master the fundamentals of high-stakes communication, leadership, and strategic negotiation.
U.S. Ambassador Brent T. Christensen joined the closing ceremony for the program, titled The Art of the Deal: American Excellence in Negotiation Skills, held at the Hotel Six Seasons in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Empowering the Next Generation
The specialized training brought together selected alumni of the English Access Scholarship Program from across Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet.
Over four days, participants underwent rigorous training to develop the core competencies required of tomorrow's decision-makers and community leaders.
"This program has equipped a new generation of Bangladeshi leaders with the essential communication, leadership, and negotiation skills needed to drive impactful change," said U.S. Mission Spokesperson Poornima Rai.
Blending American Methodologies
Led by U.S. English Language Specialist Joanne Munisteri, the curriculum offered a unique blend of modern leadership frameworks and practical negotiation tactics.
Notably, the coursework incorporated core principles from President Trump’s seminal book, The Art of the Deal, alongside broader, proven American methodologies in professional diplomacy and corporate negotiation.
