The Meteorological Department warned, "Rain or thundershowers likely in six regions of the country, and scattered hail may occur at some places. In the next 24-hour weather forecast, such message has been issued on Friday, May 5.
It is said, "Throughout the day in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chiattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary gusts with rain or thunder. Along with that, there may be scattered rain at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky in other parts of the country.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorologist Department, "Day temperature may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country. Night temperature may rise slightly.
Wind speed and direction at Dhaka is said to be 8 to 12 kmph from West/Southwest direction, which may increase to 30 to 40 kmph in temporary gusts."
It added, "The sunset in Dhaka will be at 6:29 pm on Friday, while the sunrise in Dhaka will be at 5:21 am on Saturday.
According to the weather forecast for the next 72 hours, depression may develop over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas. Rain or thundershowers may reduce the temperature.
