Chiranjeevi Secures Guinness World Records

Southern industry megastar K Chiranjeevi. He has proved his acting skills by working in numerous movies in his career. Recently he entered the Guinness Book of World Records.

In Hyderabad on Sunday, megastar Chiranjeevi was honored with a Guinness World Records certificate for being the most prolific actor in the Indian film industry.

In a special event organized on September 22, the Guinness authorities handed over the certificate to the actor with prestigious recognition.

According to the source of the Indian media report NDTV, Chiranjeevi has performed 24 thousand dances of 537 songs in 156 movies in a long career of 45 years. He stepped on the silver screen on September 22, 1978.

Basically, for this reason, the Guinness authorities chose September 22 to award the certificate. Apart from Chiranjeevi, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Guinness World Records judge Richard Stenning were also present as guests at the ceremony.

After receiving the certificate, Chiranjeevi said, "This moment is not to be forgotten. I have never sought recognition from Guinness World Records. But they honored me for dancing, it's incredible! Dance has really made me a star and has brought me many awards throughout my career."

Explaining the awarding of this certificate, Richard Stenning said, "After a thorough review of 156 films and the dance performances of those films, we are officially awarding this."

Incidentally, this year he was honored with the award Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the arts, alongside legendary actress Vyjayanthimala. In 2006, Chiranjeevi had previously received the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema. Chiranjeevi's real name is Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad.
