The second day of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2024 took place in Abu Dhabi, bringing together the biggest stars from the Hindi film industry. They included celebrities such as Hema Malini, Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, among many others.

At the event, Shah Rukh enthralled the audience with his hosting. He, along with his co-hosts Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar, shook their legs to his hit song Jhoome Jo Pathaan. The highlight of the night was the announcement of the winners.

Shah Rukh on receiving the award
In his acceptance speech, Shah Rukh said, "I want to thank all other nominees -- Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Vikrant Massey -- he was great in the film -- Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Paji. I think all of them were great, but I got an edge because people were happy that I worked after so long."

He also added, "Somebody reminded me that money needs to be put into a film. So I want to thank Gauri. She may be the only wife who's spending more on the husband than the other way around. We were going through a tough time while making Jawan (referring to the Aryan Khan case)."

About IIFA 2024
The three-day celebration kicked off on September 27 with IIFA Utsavam, an event dedicated to the southern film industries--Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

On the second day, Shah Rukh, Karan, Rekha, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal also attended the event. IIFA 2024 will conclude on September 29 with the exclusive, invitation-only IIFA Rocks. Artists such as Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will perform live for the audience.

“Rong Dhong” Cleared for Release After Censor Board Approval

The long-awaited film "Rong Dhong", which had been stuck at the Censor Board for quite some time, is set to be released in theaters this November 2024. Tollywood Actress Escapes Drunken Actor's Harassment

Tollywood actress Debolina Dutta recently opened up about a disturbing experience with a famous actor, following the dismissal of director Arindam Sheel from the Directors Guild on sexual harassment charges. Once inside, the actor, intoxicated, attempted to get close to her. The actress quickly tried to leave, but the actor blocked the door. When she insisted on leaving, he reluctantly let her go. Artist Mustafa Monowar on Life Support, Condition is Critical

Mustafa Monowar is a famous Bangladeshi painter and drama personality. He is seriously ill and is on life support at Capital's Square Hospital. The doctor said that his condition is critical. Dr. Amy Trishita Saren, in charge of the critical care unit of Square Hospital, told the media that his condition is critical. No comments can be delivered at this time. According to family sources of Mustafa Monowar, he is suffering from septic shock due to lung and blood infection. Apart from this, there are problems related to pneumonia, diabetes, Parkinson's, and high blood pressure. Treatment was also conducted in India but did not improve as expected. He was taken to the hospital again on September 4. Incidentally, Mustafa Monowar is the son of the late poet Golam Mustafa. Mustafa Monowar is an artist, theater director, and art researcher. In 2004, he was awarded the Ekushey Padak for his contribution to the arts.

Legendary actor ATM Shamsuzzaman's 83rd birth anniversary today. He is a multi-talented artiste, who excelled as a film story writer, screenwriter, actor, and director throughout his illustrious career. ATM Shamsuzzaman was born on this day in 1941 at his maternal grandparent's house in Daulatpur, Noakhali. He studied at Dhaka's Pogose School, Collegiate School, and Rajshahi's Loknath High School. His father Nuruzzaman was a famous lawyer, he used to do politics with Sher-e-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Haque. Mother Nurunnessa Begum. ATM Shamsuzzaman was the eldest among five brothers and three sisters. He became an integral part of Bengali cinema by acting. He is equally popular not only in movies but also on TV screens. He is also a producer, screenwriter, storyteller, dialogue writer, and storyteller. In 1961, ATM Shamsuzzaman got an opportunity to work as an assistant director in Udayan Chowdhury's film "Bishkanya". Then in 1965, he wrote the screenplay for the first time. The name of the movie is "Jalchhabi". He started his acting career in the same year. His first acting movie 'Naya Zindagani' was not released though. The veteran actor made his acting debut in 1965, though his first film never saw a release. His official big-screen debut came in 1968 with the film "Etotuku Asha" directed by Narayan Ghosh Mita.
