Renowned actress and familiar face in the showbiz industry, Gulshan Ara Ahmed, has passed away.
She passed away on Tuesday (April 15) at 6:40 am.
The news was confirmed by Director Kajal Arefin Ami in a post on social media.
He wrote, "Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un. Our beloved Gulshan Ara Ahmed Apa left us this morning at 6:40."
He also added, "In 'Bachelor Point,' she played the role of Kabila's mother and the Noakhali Chairman. We will miss you dearly, Apa. May Allah forgive all her sins and grant her a place in Jannatul Ferdous. Ameen."
Gulshan Ara began her television career in 2002 as a registered artist with Bangladesh Television. However, her true aspiration was to become a film actress. Fueled by that passion, she made her silver screen debut in the film Kodom Ali Mastan, directed by the late Enayet Karim.
