The White House has stated that Israel consulted with US President Donald Trump before launching its latest extensive aerial assault on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
This information was reported on Tuesday (March 18th) by the Qatar-based television channel Al Jazeera.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told US news outlet Fox News that Israel consulted with President Trump before initiating the latest attacks in Gaza.
She said,
Karoline Leavitt further added, "The Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, and its proxies should take President Trump very seriously because President Trump is saying he is not afraid to stand up for law-abiding people and to stand up for the United States and our friend and ally Israel."
Meanwhile, following the collapse of the second round of ceasefire negotiations, the death toll from the extensive Israeli airstrikes in Gaza on Tuesday has exceeded 200. Numerous Palestinians have been injured in the devastating attacks.
