Bangladesh U-17 National Football Team reached the final of the ongoing SAFF U-17 Championship after beating their counterparts Pakistan U-17 National Football Team by 2-0 goals in the first semifinal at the Racecourse International Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Thursday.
Bangladesh skipper Nazmul Huda Faisal opened account in the 3rd minute of the first half while Opu Rahman doubled the margin in the 4th minute.
However, the credit goes to the Bangladesh defenders as they kept the Pakistan boys at bay for the rest of the match.
Meanwhile, two-time champions Bangladesh will face the winners of the other semifinal between India and Nepal, scheduled for later this evening, in the title decider on September 27.
