A Spanish second division (Segunda División) match descended into chaos and violence on Sunday (April 26), as a clash between Real Zaragoza and SD Huesca ended in a pitch-side brawl and multiple ejections.

Tensions boiled over in the closing moments of the match between Zaragoza goalkeeper Esteban Andrada and Huesca defender Jorge Pulido. The confrontation began when Pulido approached Andrada, who responded by shoving the defender to the ground.

The referee immediately issued Andrada a second yellow card, resulting in a red. However, the situation escalated dramatically when the incensed Argentine goalkeeper chased after Pulido and struck him with a heavy punch to the face.

The assault triggered a massive melee involving players and coaching staff from both sides. Amidst the disorder, Huesca goalkeeper Dani Jiménez joined the fray, retaliating by punching Andrada in the back of the head.

In an effort to regain control, the referee also issued a red card to Zaragoza’s Dani Tasende.

Huesca ultimately secured a 1–0 victory, earning three crucial points in their battle against relegation. The result leaves both clubs under significant pressure as they continue to struggle at the bottom of the league table.
