Which Vehicles are not allowed in Dhaka Elevated Expressway?

Vehicles including motorcycles, bicycles and three-wheelers will not able to take the Dhaka Elevated Expressway.

Traffic, cars, buses, minibuses, microbuses, small, medium and big trucks can be used in Elevated Expressway.

At the same time, The authorities have set the speed limit at 60 km and it will take 10 minutes for a vehicle with a speed of up to 60 km per hour to reach Farmgate from Kawla.

However, The elevated expressway will serve as an alternative north-south route. It will connect Hemayetpur-Kadamtali-Nimtoli-Sirajdikhan-Madanganj-Dhaka-Chattogram Highway-Madanpur directly.
