Dhaka, Riyadh talk on enhancing trade, connectivity

Dhaka and Riyadh today (Jan 21) discussed on enhancing trade, investment and connectivity between the two brotherly nations.


The discussion was held when Saudi Arabian Vice-minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed El Khereiji called on Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud in Kampala, Uganda on the sideline of Third South Summit of the G-77 and China.


At the meeting held on Sunday, Khereiji congratulated Mahmud for assuming his new role as Foreign Minister.

The two dignitaries also discussed various issues of mutual interest.


Foreign Minister is leading the Bangladesh delegation to the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the Third South Summit of the G-77 and China in Kampala, Uganda.


Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen, Bangladesh Permanent Representative to the UN Muhammad A Muhith and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Kenya and Uganda Tareque Muhammad, among others, are accompanying the Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud.
