US is committed to support Bangladesh: Joe Biden
US President Joe Biden has sent a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as she has come to power for the fourth consecutive term through the 12th national parliamentary election. In the letter, the US President said that the United States is committed to helping Bangladesh to achieve its economic visions.
The US President wrote to PM Sheikh Hasina expressing his eagerness to work together in order to achieve Bangladesh's economic goals.
The letter was recently handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the US Embassy in Dhaka.
President Biden also expressed his willingness to strengthen ties with Bangladesh on their shared vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
"We have a long and successful history of working together to solve problems, and our strong people-to-people ties are the foundation of this relationship," President Joe Biden wrote.
Recently, the Embassy of the United States of America shared the letter with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Notably, Awami League formed the government for the fourth consecutive term after getting an absolute majority in the 12th parliamentary elections. And the president of the party, Sheikh Hasina, was elected as the Prime Minister for the fourth time in a row and the fifth time in total.
