23 sailors of MV Abdullah return to their families

Bangladeshi-flagged ship MV Abdullah, freed from the Somali pirates, has finally arrived in the country after two months.Today, 23 sailors of MV Abdullah returned to their relatives. Earlier, the ship anchored at Kutubdia at 6:40 pm on Monday (May 13).

On Tuesday (May 14), a lighter ship was brought to KSRM Lighter Jetty Sadarghat. From here they will return to their respective homes.

These sailors have already spoken to their relatives. Relatives came to the jetty with flowers to welcome the sailors.

A relative who came to welcome these sailors called the days of being in the grip of pirates as horrific days. "I don't want to remember those days anymore."

Notably, after 33 days of captivity, the ship was released on the night of April 13. The ship first arrived at the UAE port of Al Hamriyah. After unloading the goods there, it went to Mina Saqr to load a cargo of limestone. The ship came under attack on March 12.
