The government has fixed the new office timing for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations of the country. After Eid ul-Adha, the government office will run with the new schedule.

The approval was given in the weekly meeting of the cabinet held at the Prime Minister's Office with PM Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
After the meeting, the Cabinet Secretary said this at a press briefing at the Secretariat. Mahbub Hossain said.

According to the new schedule, the office will run from 9 am to 5 pm. There will be a prayer break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Now the government office hours are from 9am to 4pm.
