Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stated that an opportunity has been given to whiten black money to bring money back into the banking channel.
She said this in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting organized on the occasion of historic 6 points at Tejgaon district Awami League office on Friday (June 7) afternoon.
The Prime Minister said that, 'Black money is being criticized for no reason, an opportunity has been given to whiten black money to bring money back into the banking channel. 'We want to proceed very cautiously. So that the people of our country don't suffer. We want to meet people's needs. We have made this year's budget by keeping that in mind.'
At that time she said, 'People are the main strength of Awami League, because Awami League is in power, the unprecedented development of Bangladesh has taken place. Bangladesh will move forward with the people of the country.' Awami League President Sheikh Hasina urged the leaders and activists to focus on sustaining development and increasing production.
Commenting on many developed countries are struggling, Sheikh Hasina said that the budget has been made to keep in mind that people can live well.
