PM Sheikh Hasina invited Modi to visit Bangladesh

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a private meeting with India's new Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting was held after Modi's swearing-in ceremony on Sunday (June 9) night. After discussing various issues in the meeting, Sheikh Hasina invited Modi to visit Bangladesh.

Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud confirmed the matter and said that India-Bangladesh relations have reached new heights under the leadership of the Prime Ministers of the two countries.

He said that Sheikh Hasina had a meeting with Modi immediately after taking oath. At this time, the Prime Minister expressed hope that the relationship between the two countries will deepen in the coming days.

Hasan Mahmud said that the relationship between the two neighboring countries is multidimensional. People of both countries are benefiting from the relationship between the two countries. This multi-dimensional relationship will expand in the days to come.
