Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said those who came to power after August 15 could not take the country forward, rather there were Military coups repeatedly.

She said this at the 38th founding anniversary of the Special Security Force on Wednesday (June 26).

The prime minister said visible and sustainable development has been possible as Awami League has been in power continuously since 2009. The government has taken a long-term plan to build the modern armed forces.

Bangladesh will not attack anyone, but the Prime Minister urged them to be ready to protect the country's sovereignty if attacked.

The Prime Minister said the Forces Goal 2030 is being formulated and implemented for the armed forces. She also advised the SSF to remain alert so that people do not have to be isolated for security.

We formed the government and started the war crimes trial. But the former put those war criminals in power. We have made the country self-sufficient in food, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
