Instructions regarding Saturday curfew

Curfew is in force in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narsingdi and Narayanganj. However, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said it has been relaxed from 8 am to 5 pm. He said these things in a press conference at Dhanmondi residence on Thursday (July 25). He said that the curfew will be relaxed from 8 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Asaduzzaman Khan also revealed the operation of the law and order forces will continue until all those involved in sabotage are arrested.

Apart from these four districts, whether there will be a curfew in other districts, the district administrators will decide based on the situation.

Earlier, after the curfew continued for five consecutive days, the curfew was relaxed for 7 hours in some districts of Dhaka and surrounding districts on Wednesday (July 24). Curfew was relaxed from 10 am to 5 pm in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Narsingdi.

On Tuesday (July 23), the Ministry of Home Affairs informed that the decision to relax the curfew will be in force on Wednesday and Thursday (July 24 and 25) from 10 am to 5 pm.

Meanwhile, government and private offices opened after three consecutive days of general holidays. But not full time, office timings were 11 am to 3 pm. The traffic pressure in the capital was heavy as offices and courts opened with a break for a few days.
