Awami League president Sheikh Hasina left the country after resigning in the face of the unforgettable coup of the students and is currently in Delhi, India.

Indian Mass media News-18 reported this information on Tuesday (August 6).

According to the media, Sheikh Hasina was forced to resign on Monday in the face of the student anger. She then fled to India. She was flown to Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad in a Bangladesh Air Force aircraft. Hasina wanted her to take political asylum in the UK. However, a source said that the United Kingdom is not willing to give shelter to the ousted Sheikh Hasina.

When Sheikh Hasina left the country, her younger sister Sheikh Rehana was also with her. But Rehana has UK citizenship. According to a source, Rehana will visit the UK shortly. But it is not sure whether Hasina will go with her or not.
