Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, looting of lakhs of tons coal cannot takes place without government’s green signal, and government cannot avert responsibility over this.
He said this at a press conference at BNP’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Friday.
Rizvi said, lakhs of tons of coal were looted for the last several years. But the coal authority was not concern. Because they are the responsible. Besides, the responsible ministry’s role of apathy in connection with looting of huge quantity of coal from Barapukuria mine is mysterious. One of the mine officials whose name came in through the corruption investigation was given 42 days leave. So head of government or the government cannot avert the responsibility of this huge corruption.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, from share market to Padma Bridge through bank, insurance and financial institutions and question leak from primary level to university examinations and in government service appointment- corruptions are taking place in a festive mood. And government patronizes those.
He said, Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) is the washing machine of government’s corruption. And for the opposition it is the torturing machine. Investigation of ACC is eyewash. ACC is performing cleansing work of the government.
To the Information Minister Rizvi said, the minister said that to get a job of peon it needs 10 lakh taka, then who get the portions of this 10 lakh taka that should be made clear.
He also said, killing festival is going on in the name of gun-fight. Beginning from the anti narcotics drive so far nearly two hundred and fifty extra judicial killings were happened in the country.
