Education institutions including Universities to reopen on Sunday

All educational institutions of the country, including universities will be reopened from Sunday (August 18).

This information was informed in the office order signed by Mosammat Rahima Akhtar, Deputy Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Education Ministry on Thursday (August 15).

In the wake of clashes that erupted during the recent movement demanding reform of the job quota system, educational institutions were closed indefinitely on July 17 to ensure the safety of students.
