The Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr Muhammad Yunus said, I am overwhelmed by the way the people of the country have come forward. Planning to work on health and food risks in an integrated manner. International funds must be mobilized.

He said this in a meeting with representatives of NGOs at Rashtriya Guest House Jamuna on Saturday (August 24) afternoon.

Dr Muhammad Yunus said the flood water has started to recede. Health and food risks need to be addressed in an integrated manner now. Relief should be coordinated and sent as needed.

He also said that the government is giving importance to the speedy restoration of electricity and internet connection in the flood-affected areas.

The Chief Adviser said that the coordinated initiative of all is necessary to deal with the flood situation. At this time, he also urged everyone to come forward.
