Dr Yunus to sit with political parties in afternoon
Interim Government's Chief advisor Dr Muhammad Yunus sitting with political parties on Saturday afternoon to discuss the overall situation, country reforms and the upcoming elections.
Dr Muhammad Yunus government was welcomed by the political party BNP. However, since August 24, the party's general secretary, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, had been demanding 'very fast' dialogue on the election question. In view of this demand, exchange of views is going to be held between chief advisor Dr Muhammad Yunus and political parties.
The exchange meeting will begin at 3 pm on Saturday (August 31) at Jamuna, the official residence of the Chief Advisor. Which is scheduled to last till 8pm.
The Chief Adviser's Press Wing informed this in a press release on Thursday (August 29) evening.
Sources said that the government will discuss the overall situation of the country, reforms and the upcoming elections. However, like the previous meeting, it has been reported that there will not have any coalition party including Awami League in this meeting.
