Closing Parade of 40th BCS (Police) Batch Postponed
The closing parade of the 40th BCS (Police) batch supposed to be held at Bangladesh Police Academy, Rajshahi today, has been suspended.
"The closing parade of the 40th BCS (Police) batch scheduled to be held on Sunday at Bangladesh Police Academy, Rajshahi, is not being held due to unavoidable reasons," the chief adviser's press wing said.
Allegedly, Sheikh Hasina's government selected 62 people as ASP from the 40th BCS in three categories. The categories are – Chhatra League, residents of Gopalganj, and party cadre.
Many passed the written and oral exams at that time but were dropped only because of the reports of SB and NSI. No one was appointed unless the Awami League did it. At the same time, no matter how good the results are, if anyone in the family is involved in BNP or Jamaat politics, he has been excluded.
According to sources, the SB, and NSI reports are being reviewed, starting with the test results of those 62 accused before the training parade. After investigating whether there is anyone innocent among them, the date of the re-training parade will be finalized.
