Rizwana Opens Up About Saint Martin, Minus Two Issue
Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser on Water Resources and Environment, Forests and Climate Change, said that unnecessary rumors are spreading about the Saint Martin Issue. The government is coordinating the conservation and tourism of Saint Martin.
She revealed this to reporters after the 'One Health Day' campaign at the capital's Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon on Monday (November 4).
Adviser Rizwana Hasan said, "In November, you have to go to Saint Martin and return on the same day. In December and January, a maximum of 2 thousand tourists can stay overnight."
Adviser Rizwana also spoke about the Minus-2 formula issue in politics. She said that BNP has the right to speak as a political party. Apart from this, the political parties want elections, it is their logical demand. The government also wants elections. But they want reforms first, while also giving equal importance to elections.
She said that not only we should talk about human rights, but we should also be aware of the rights of wildlife. We need to change our mindset about the environment and wildlife.
Rizwana also said that there is an alarming condition in the path of the Elephant movement.
Mentioning the current incident at Shilpakala Academy, Rizwana said that the government does not support such actions as stopping any cultural activities. The Director General of Shilpakala Academy is looking into the matter.
