He made this statement on Saturday (December 14) during a discussion organized by the Belabo Upazila Administration in Narsingdi. The discussion was attended by officials from various departments, freedom fighters, public representatives, politicians, journalists, and members of civil society.
The Foreign Affairs Advisor emphasized, "We want to maintain good relations with all countries based on respect and equality. The government is working with that goal in mind. We have conveyed to India that we seek good relations, but they must be founded on mutual interests."
Referring to the transfer of power through elections, he said, "The government aims to hand over power to politicians through a fair and impartial election. There is no room for doubt about this. Our primary task is to restore stability in the country."

After implementing some critical reforms, we will hand over power to politicians through free and fair elections and step aside. They will govern the country.
