New DCs Appointed in 3 Districts of Bangladesh

The interim government has appointed new District Commissioners (DCs) in three districts of Bangladesh.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday, January 9.

The notification states that ABM Ifthekharul Islam Khandakar, the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Finance has been appointed as the DC of Khagrachhari; Mohammad Zahidul Islam Miah, the DC of Rajbari has been appointed as the DC of Narayanganj; and Sultana Akter, the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce has been appointed as the DC of Rajbari.

The notification further states that this order issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
