Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh senior joint secretary general Mahi B. Chowdhury said, we are taking part in election that’s for sure. Can say that it is not impossible to run in election through alliance. But I cannot elaborate more before the formal discussion.
His comment came in after holding a meeting with Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday.
Mahi B. Chowdhury said, we met for formal discussion. Jukta Front and 14-party will hold formal discussion within a very short span of time. The process has begun today so that formal discussion takes place in this regard. We are not coming to 14-party. We held talks about grand alliance.
He said, after emerging Bikalpa Dhara did not do politics against Awami League, even against BNP. We did politics for Bangladesh. We sat with BNP, held discussion with them. We thought from core of our heart that as a party of Ziaur Rahman they could throw away Jamaat. The spiritual relation that was built between them BNP could not come out from there. It is unfortunate for them and also for Bangladesh.
Mahi also said, we held a formal discussion today. For the last several days conversation took place between our part secretary general MA Mannan and Obaidul Quader. Following that discussions were held on overall political affairs so that a beautiful election is organized after being united against the evil forces that are hatching conspiracy against the country and for a participatory election.
