During the visit, he inquired about the child’s condition and instructed hospital authorities to provide the highest medical care. Senior officials of CMH were also present at the time.

Speaking to journalists afterwards, the Home Affairs Advisor confirmed that a case had been filed at Magura Sadar Police Station against four accused individuals in connection with the rape and attempted murder of the child. All four suspects in the case have been arrested, and the Home Ministry is committed to ensuring they do not escape justice.

"I have directed law enforcement agencies to take a firm stance against harassment and rape. Additionally, I have instructed them to compile a list of all reported incidents of violence against women and complete investigations swiftly so that reports can be submitted to the court without delay," he said.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury further emphasized that justice will be served for all recent rape cases, with the perpetrators receiving strict punishment. "Women should be able to live and work without fear, both at home and outside. Anyone attempting to harm or obstruct them will be held accountable under the law. There will be zero tolerance in this matter," he stated.

He also urged society to remain aware and actively speak out against violence against women, stressing the importance of upholding family, social, and moral values.
