Medical Efforts and Tragic End
Despite receiving advanced medical care at CMH and the dedicated efforts of expert doctors, the child could not be saved. She suffered three cardiac arrests on the morning of her passing. Although she was stabilized twice, doctors were unable to revive her heartbeat the third time.

The Bangladesh Army extended its deepest condolences to the grieving family and pledged its support. They also prayed for the departed soul's peace.

Incident and Medical Treatment
On March 6, the child was raped while visiting her sister's house in Nijnanduali village, on the outskirts of Magura town. Initially taken to Magura Sadar Hospital, her condition worsened, leading to transfers first to Faridpur Medical College Hospital and then to Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). On the night of March 7, she was placed on ventilation.

The team included experts in surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, plastic surgery, pediatric neurology, anaesthesia, pediatric cardiology, pediatric surgery, urology, and thoracic surgery.

Legal Proceedings and Public Outrage
Of the four accused in the rape case, DNA samples from three male suspects have been collected for testing. On Tuesday (March 11), the suspects were brought to the CID's DNA profiling lab in Dhaka, along with the child's DNA samples.

This tragic incident has sparked nationwide outrage, with protests and demonstrations demanding justice against rape and sexual violence.
