Gono Forum president and Jatiya Oikyafront top leader Dr. Kamal Hossain said, man’s head cannot be bought, heads of cow and goat can be bought. Those who are sold like cow-goat are known as middleman.
He said these while delivering speech as the chief guest at the extended meeting of Dhaka metropolitan Gono Forum at Gono Forum’s central office at Eden building of Motijheel in the capital on Friday.
Dr. Kamal Hossain said, people want relief from the misrule, state cannot run on falsehood. There is no scope to deny that there is demand of sound politics in the country.
He said, politics of good sense will be visible within a short period of time if we remain with people round the clock by uniting their force. Most of the people of the country are for sound political practice. If this practice continues then evil politics will say goodbye forever.
The meeting presided over by Gono Forum General Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu where central leaders of the party Sayeedur Rahman Sayeed, Ayub Khan Faruk, Rafiqul Islam Pathik among others also delivered speeches.
