Health Minister Zahid Maleque said, the second wave of coronavirus contraction has begun in the country. People are at present getting out of their homes for their livelihood. We are watching some apathy regarding maintaining of the health guidelines. But health division including the physicians and nurses are prepared to face the second wave.
The minister was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s modernization and expansion of education program which was organized on Wednesday on the occasion of birth centenary of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The health minister said, many programs like wedding and picnics are organized in the winter season. So there are scopes for increasing infection. So we have to refrain from these programs. In this case people have to abide by the rules of health and the mass media should have to come forward.
