Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen said, the DG level meeting between Bangladesh and Myanmar will be held in February. At that time Myanmar will take back some Rohingyas.

He said this to the newsmen while delivering his speech as the chief guest at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in the capital on Sunday.

The Foreign Minister said, the secretary-level meeting between Bangladesh and Myanmar was held. From our part some proposals were given. There they said that they would take back some Rohingyas. We have so far handed over a list of eight lakh Rohingyas. They have verified only 42 thousand. The DG level meeting between the two countries will be held in February. There details will be discussed. We want that the repatriation process would begin as early as possible.
