Additional Director General (Planning and Development) of the health directorate Professor Dr. Meerzady Sabrina Flora said, corona vaccination activities for the second dose will begin from April 8.
She said this to the newsmen while replying questions at the inaugural program of the new building at central medicine warehouse (CSMD) in the capital on Sunday.
Meerzady Sabrina Flora said, health guidelines have to be maintained after having vaccinated. There is no alternative to obeying the health guidelines.
Joining the program through online Health Minister Zahid Maleque said, we won’t be relieved from corona contraction if people do not cooperate the government. He urged people to cooperate for making the country free from coronavirus.
About the reason of sudden increased corona infection the health minister said, people are visiting Cox’s Bazar, Banderban and other places. Wedding programs, picnics and waz mahfils are being organized. Nearly 25 lakh people visited Cox’s Bazar in the last 15 days. None of them followed the health guidelines or used masks. For these reasons the number of corona infection is increasing.
